Rectangular air ducts are manufactured from galvanized sheet metal, aluminum, and stainless steel according to desired specifications. Ventilation duct systems are generally produced in accordance with SMACNA or DW 144 standards.

In the production of air ducts, sheet metal thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm are used in fully automated machines. Air duct lengths are manufactured in 1200 mm lengths. The longest side must not exceed 3000 mm, and the length/width ratio must not exceed 3/1, as these are design limitations. Horizontal reinforcement is applied to the duct and fitting surface; this reinforcement interval is 150 mm. This application is done for strength and is performed automatically on the duct machine. The air duct clamping type is Pittsburg clamp.
